- 2 cups maida
- 1.5 tsp active dry yeast
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup lukewarm water
- 1 tsp salt
- as required Oil
- as required Butter
Steps to make to make Loaf Bread(wheat+maida)
- In a small bowl take lukewarn water add yeast and sugar. Mix and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- The yeast activates after 10 minutes. In another bowl,add both flours,salt,some butter and activated yeast. Mix well and knead a dough from it.
- Apply some oil,knead well and let it rest in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
- The dough rise (double in size)during this time. After 60 minutes, massage the dough for about 10 minutes.
- Roll out the dough round, shape it like a loaf to keep in the greased loaf pan. Let it sit there for 30-40 minutes. Preheat oven @175 C. Now after 30 minutes,brush it's top with melted butter and bake it at 175C for around 40 minutes.
- Check it at 25 minutes. The bread is done if it's top appears light brown in colour. Brush it with melted butter and take it out from oven.
- Remove it immediately from the loaf and let it rest on the rack!
