Getting Answers: summer travel tips
Springfield, Massachusetts (WGGB / WSHM) - It's summer time and we want to know how to enjoy the sunshine as fuel prices rise and travel demand increases.
“If you have been on a plane recently, you may have seen that the plane is completely full. "People are more comfortable traveling and they want to go somewhere," said travel expert Sarah Dandachi.
By the summer of 2022, travel restrictions have been lifted and growth has increased. What are the latest travel trends and how can you get the best value for money? We took our questions to Dandashi to find out.
Dandachi added: “We will continue to see that net travel demand is definitely rising.
Dandachi told the Western Mass News that rising fuel prices could not hurt travel plans, but could affect where people spend their vacation and how often they flee.
“We’re seeing a big trend towards landing or road trips, especially within the three- and six-hour radius ... You can never miss the view of Boston, it’s always a fantastic view, and not too far away,” Dandashi said.
He said that when people choose to take a few trips, getting off the beaten path, avoiding beaches and other seasonal areas can help reduce travel time and increase happiness.
"It will not be expensive or crowded. If you have time to book flights or hit the road, be as creative as possible.
You must always reschedule the cancellation policy to get the most out of it.
“And definitely not fall asleep in loyalty rewards programs. Use them. You can earn or redeem points for your future travels, ”Dandachi said.
Mass travel is common, which helps you save on hotels and Airbnb.
Dandachi said, "A lot of people are traveling in groups, whether they are family or for generations, or as I said, they are traveling with a group of friends."
So, with stops and day trips, how do you spend a day off in western Massachusetts? See no more MGM Springfield at West Massachusetts' only AAA Four Diamond Hotel.
